Auden Schendler Terrible Beauty
GARNA is excited to partner with the Central Colorado Humanists to bring Auden Schendler to A Church to discuss his latest book, Terrible Beauty: Reckoning with Climate Complicity and Rediscovering Our Soul. Book Club Salida will have the book available for purchase so you can read it before the talk.

Summer Youth Program
Summer reading & writing camp for rising 5th through 9th graders. Groups will be divided into appropriate grade level reading groups. Camp will include Book Club discussions, Reading Time, Nature Journaling, & Writing Workshops. Afternoon snack included. Attendees will need to ride their bike, bring lunch, and a water bottle. Attendees will be moving around downtown Salida from the bookstore (with an adult supervisor). All attendees will be entered into a raffle drawing for a new National Parks book, and will receive books for their reading club and a journal.

Temple Grandin Open Hour
Achieve Life Skills is bringing Temple Grandin to Salida.
