Join us in partnership with Salida High School, Chaffee County Public Health, and Family & Youth Initiatives on Friday, October 16th at 9 am for a Big Read Book Club discussion with author Jessica Lahey about her book The Addiction Inoculation. The Addiction Inoculation is a comprehensive resource parents, teachers, coaches, students, and community members can use to prevent substance abuse in kids' lives. Lahey provides evidence-based strategies and practical tools that are age-appropriate and actionable to help us raise kids who will grow up healthy, happy, and addiction-free.
